 Jordan A. Odell grew up in Charlotte, MI, graduated from the University of Cincinnati, College of Mortuary Science and was a Funeral Director with Gorsline-Runciman Co. in Lansing, MI for 24 years before purchasing the Shelly Funeral Home from Keith and Doris Shelly in 1988. He has been assisting families with arrangements and prearrangements for over 40 years. Jordan is a member of the Eaton Rapids First United Methodist Church, the Chancel Choir, the Eaton Rapids Lion’s Club, the E.R. Medical Center Foundation Board and E. R. Medical Center Auxiliary.
Kathleen M. (Tripp) Odell “Kathy” grew up on a farm between Eaton Rapids and Mason, attended Michigan State University, raised 3 sons and later was a preschool teacher at the Child Enrichment Center in Holt. She began assisting her husband, Jordan, at the Funeral Home in 1990. Kathy belongs to the Eaton Rapids First United Methodist Church, Priscilla Circle, the Eaton Rapids Medical Center Auxiliary and Eaton Rapids Business & Professional Women’s Club.
